Fantastic experience, could not say enough good things about this trip. 3 days and 3 nights of amazing fishing. 100+ lake trout caught; many of which were 20-30 pounders and even a 45lb. Monster, unheard of fishing from Nova Scotia where I'm from. All food was provided and exceptional as well as the camping accommodations. Captain Moore will put you on the fish and keep you fed. Highly recommend this trip for anyone who wants the full back country fishing experience. I'm already booked for next year.

What a great fishing trip.. i can honestly say I caught more fish in this one weekend then in my entire life before! �. Andrews camp was so well set up and very comfortable. Views where absolutely amazing, as was all the food we had! Mmmm campfire pies �. Even though we we're off the grid, and had a bear � neighbor, Andrews wilderness skills made me feel very safe the whole time. Thank you for the awesome trip!

Andrew has a strong knowledge of Great Slave Lake and the surrounding lakes. His boat is well equipped, clean, and comfortable on long trips. He is great at letting you do your thing for the more seasoned fisher’s and great at coaching less experienced fishers. Every trip with Andrew has been awesome! Lots of good times, good laughs, and great company. Thanks Andrew!

Yellowknife Sportfishing Adventures offers a variety of packages to our customers to help check off that bucket list trophy fish. In the Yellowknife area there are many types of fish that are just waiting to be caught.
Depending on the summer or winter Ice Fishing package you choose you can expect to catch Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Artic Grayling, Bourbot, Walleye (aka Pickerel), Inconneau, and White Fish.
With the vast area, minimal fishing pressure, colder waters, barbless hooks and emphasis on catch and release you will be spoiled with the size and numbers of the fish you catch. We use several types of techniques to catch these fish.
From jigging, casting, trolling and flyfishing it won’t be long until one of them is tugging on your line. Yellowknife offers some of the worlds best fresh water sport fishing.
It does not matter if you have never fished before or a professional fisherman! We provide all the fishing equipment(except fly fishing) needed so all you have to do is show up. Leave it to us to teach you the tricks, techniques and bring you to the honey holes.
